This tiny locomotive was built by Neilson and Company in Glasgow in 1897. It worked at Beckton Gas works, in London, and is now preserved at Bressingham Hall, near Diss, in Norfolk.
Great Northern Railway 4-2-2 No.1, the famous Stirling single-wheeler, stands on the turntable at the National Railway Museum at York, while other locos are on display around her.
