SOU 630 bulids steam in the early morning in preparation for a westbound trek to Bulls Gap on home rails of the former Southern Ry A line.

Southern 630 pulled the first 21st Century Steam trip of the year on March 2nd. The train had to make a short stop in Valley Head and then continued south to Attalla, AL.

Black locomotives and white steam pop against the landscape of a grey winter's day as the 630 leads an excursion to Attalla along the foot of Lookout Mountain.

This year's "21st Century Steam" season was off to an early, cold start as the 630 led a roundtrip excursion between Chattanooga, TN and Attalla, AL on the former Alabama Great Southern.
