Westbound train with a great typical SP paint job.
A westbound helper set is scurrying into the siding and the mountains with their snowy mantles idly gaze down. I think these may be Mts. Keller & San Antonio.

A westbound is dragging up the to the summit past the late lamented ATSF tunnel. I believe that's snow-capped Mt. San Antonio in the background condescending on the feeble efforts of mortal man.
On what may have been my last trip to CA I caught this "down train" beaten and battered but still magnificent doing its job.
A westbound passes under itself and emerges from the west end of the tunnel and it's all SP!
One of those delightfully mixed up consists shepherded by a usually reliable unit is preparing to depart for LA. Most of them were on a short leash.
SP 6814 leads the "Tank Train" through Cable Siding. The good paint on the Tunnel Motor is a rare treat. I didn't even have to pay the kids to wave!
