Amtrak's Winter Park Express Ski Train exits Tunnel 1 on a frosty morning as it runs passengers up the Moffat Tunnel Sub to the ski resort at the top of the Rocky Mountains.
Heavy snow is falling at the east portal of the Moffat Tunnel as UP 8051 (ES44AC) splits the signals while running east on the Moffat Tunnel Sub towards Tolland, Colorado.
With the back of the oil can train still coming through Tunnel #1 in the background, UP 8995 (SD70AH) heads towards Blue Mountain Road in Coal Creek Canyon.
