The backbone of the Reading's second-generation fleet was four-axle EMD units. One of the newest additions, a GP39-2, lays over in Bethlehem with a GP35 and a GP30.
It was very common to encounter Reading road power in the CNJ/LV's Bethlehem engine terminal. Switchers were much less frequent visitors, and this one was a real surprise.
