Viewed twelve years ago in 2003 and donated in 1963, this gorgeous 4-8-4 was built by the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy. Would have loved to have seen her run.

Shoving back to Olson Road, the Nebraska Zephyr would be pulling into the station within a few minutes to take on more passengers.

CB&Q 9911-A, named the Silver Pilot, is the last E5 in existence. Built in 1940, she's still going strong at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union. Here's to many more years!

Departing the station for her last time this year, the 9911A heads east for Kishwaukee Grove.
