Adirondack Scenic Railway's train from Utica to Thendara heads north.
The 12:30 PM SB train to Otter Lake and return sits at Thendara station, waiting to load passengers. ADIX 4243 is the former SP&S #303, BN #4243, Mass Central #4243.
The late afternoon run of the Adirondack Scenic is seen crossing teh Chubb River shortly after departing the Lake Placid station.
The 2Pm excursion from Lake Placid crosses Rte 3 as well as the intersection of Margaret, Depot, and Marshall Street only yards away from the station at Saranac Lake.
