The Edgar Branch features rolling hills remains of ancient sand dunes from a time when the sea was higher. The sand is now a main commodity for mining in this area.
Since 1980's I've wanted to get a shot of the local on the Edgar branch. 30 plus years later I finally do it. The route used to connect to Palatka, trimmed back to Edgar in the early 1980's.
