The EJ&E "Line Train", road freight from Kirk to Joliet, roars through Dyer, IN right on time, slamming the old Monon diamonds with force as 4 SD38-2's rumble through town with a mile of manifest.
EJ&E 656 and straight SD38 654 double team the afternoon line train as it departs Kirk yard for Joliet.
The EJE Line Train is about to hit the CN(GTW) diamonds in Griffith as it heads west to Joliet.
The Line train covers the last mile of its journey into Joliet Yard. This is my 300th photo on rp.net.
