KiwiRail General Electric rebuilt U25C DXR8022 stands at Kaikoura station with 700 0700 Christchurch - Picton, Coastal Pacific, on 19th March 2024.

It was kind of neat when CN assigned the EJ&E heritage unit to Proctor for a short stint. Here it was leading a stone train up to the U.S. Steel Minntac plant.
