Former Superliner coach 31046 has been decorated with a wrap to commemorate the upcoming National Train Day on May 8, 2010 (with an ad for Subway apparently paying some of the costs). The car is seen on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #571 as it passes through Orange, California, on its way from San Diego to Los Angeles on April 24, 2010.
Stretching from San Luis Obispo to San Diego, the Surf Line has become Amtrak's second busiest route. See the Pacific Surfliner and San Diegan in action along with trains from predecessors Santa Fe and Southern Pacific.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
