The big news in Fullerton on Friday, December 28th, 2012, was that the westbound Southwest Chief was running nearly 13 hours late, and had a BNSF SD70MAC on the point. The surprise that evening, though, was just before #3 arrived, #4, the eastbound Southwest Chief, arrived (on time!) with one of Amtrak's Heritage diesels, P42DC 184, on the point.
