Running 17 minutes late, Los Angeles-bound Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #583 makes a stop in Anaheim, California, on June 25th, 2013. This station is located in the parking lot for Angel Stadium, which explains all the Angels banners on the platforms (and the Angels-themed Coors Light billboard, which is clearly visible from both the stadium and the 57 Freeway). But this station, hidden in the trees near the Amtrak sign, is now on borrowed time, as a new station is being built on the other side of the tracks, and the other side of the freeway. This particular Surfliner, made up of older Amfleet coaches and an Horizon Fleet Dinette, is lead by NPCU 90208 (Amtrak F40PH 208 with the "guts" removed and a baggage compartment in the prime mover's place) and powered by P42DC 183 on the rear.
