Heading Out of the Setting Sun is Amtrak train #4, the eastbound Southwest Chief. The train, led by P42DCs 42 (the Veterans unit) and 174, this nine-car train is about to make its stop in Fullerton, the first station on its journey from Los Angeles to Chicago. The small Amtrak logo on the nose is new. (April 29, 2017) Update: Due to bad weather in the Midwest, this train arrived in Chicago 5 hours 45 minutes late. And, somewhere east of Fullerton, it acquired a pair of private cars: "Evelyn Henry" and "Warren R Henry" were on rear.
GE manufactured safety cab locomotives, refer to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_GE_locomotives for a complete list.
