In the early morning sunlight, the northbound deadhead run of the 75th Annual Santa Train rolls through the community of Fort Blackmore along the former Clinchfield Railroad main line. The deadhead move featured several photo stops between Kingsport, TN and Shelby, KY to allow those in attendance for the move to capture their shots of the duo leading this once-in-a-lifetime event, which included SARM's ex-SBD SD45 #2024 disguised as CRR #3632, and the talk of the town: privately-ownedd Clinchfield F3A #800 repainted into it's original as-delivered scheme by the CSX Huntington Locomotive Shops, which would lead the next day's official run to Kingsport.
