Built in November 1951 as St. Louis-San Francisco 594, this GP7 would eventually be sold by the Frisco to Peabody Coal Company, becoming PCCX 1001. Now owned by Respondek Railroad Corporation, this sixty-six-year-old workhorse is on lease by RRC to the Liberty Coal Mine in Boonville, Indiana, where it was photographed (with permission and full PPE) on September 30, 2017. This engine was never owned by the Illinois Terminal, but it is wearing a paint scheme inspired by the ITC, and even includes the ITC's logo. Photographed on private property with permission and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
