New F125s for Metrolink for Christmas!
Metrolink is about to take delivery of two more EMD F125s, as BNSF Railway train J-WSPLAC1-20A (a High/Wide Move from Willow Springs IL to Los Angeles CA) will arrive in LA in less than an hour. This train consists of BNSF ES44C4 7191 up front, Metrolink F125s 940 and 919 (surrounded by buffer cars, primarily to provide additional axles for effective braking) and BNSF ES44C4 7179 on the rear. The train passed through Fullerton, California, at 8:53 am on a rainy December 23, 2019.
