The DPU on N760 enters the yard at the Duke Energy Rogers Complex (aka Cliffside Steam Station) as an emptied train pulls into the clear on the departure track. The top of Cliffside Unit 6 and the stack of the flue gas desulfurization scrubber can be seen over the hill in the distance. On December 30, 2012, Unit 6 entered service as one of the last, if not the last, large coal-fired unit in the US. Cliffside recently began co-firing with natural gas.
