At the last light of day Metrolink train 688, operating on the southbound on the system’s Orange County Line (heading from Los Angeles to Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo) has shut its ditchlights off and dimmed its headlight in order to safely meet northbound train 812, heading from Oceanside to San Bernardino on the Inland Empire-Orange County Line. (These two lines diverge just beyond this station. Leading train 688 is SCAX F125 912. (Orange, California – January 18, 2021)
