Los Angeles Junction S2 switcher #3 works a cut of cars in the railroad's yard in Vernon, California, on March 10th, 1973. This engine, painted dark blue with white "zebra stripes," was built by American Locomotive Company (Alco) for the LAJ in October 1946.
An attempt to put the best picture of engines that represent each of America's railroads. When a better picture of an engine/type is found, it will be added.
