The closest we have to the mighty SD40, forty-three year-old Clyde-built LZ3101 (former L252) sits at McIntyre Loop along with LQ3122 (L271), DC2206 (42204) and LZ3103 (L259), while on transfer from Western Australia to New South Wales for grain working. This was the first visit of a former L class to Victoria since January 2007. The two LZs and the DC class have all been repainted into the latest QRN livery for the new venture.
