Grand Indeed! New York Central's Grand Central Terminal is a Manhattan landmark which serves as an example of the power and prestige that was once synonymous with the large American railroads of the early 20th Century. Built in 1913, it is Manhattan's only surviving large station. Now serving Metro-North (67 tracks on two levels, and soon to be 75), it continues it's role well into the 21st Century, it's 100th birthday, only 2 years away! A photo I've been after for some time, special thanks to RP member Dennis Livesey for guiding me to the spot.
