In Autumn of 2014, the Plymouth and Lincoln Railroad (operating as the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad/Hobo Railroad) acquired SW1000 1012 from locomotive dealer Larry's Truck Electric. The Plymouth and Lincoln Railroad painted this locomotive in an attractive Boston & Maine/Maine Central-inspired paint scheme. The 1012 was found at the railroad's facility in Lincoln, New Hampshire, on September 11, 2016. It was built as Burlington Northern 438, which became BNSF 3631 when the BN and Santa Fe merged. When sold later to Larry's Truck Electric, it became LTEX 1013.
