Amtrak train 93 (a Northeast Regional train heading from Boston, Massachusetts to Richmond, Virginia) crosses over the New York MTA's subway station at the end of the N and W Lines on July 19, 2018. The next stop for this train, which has also just crossed the Hell Gate Bridge, is New York City. This eight-car train is powered by a Siemens "City Sprinter" electric locomotive (model ACS-64), which is the only type of locomotive found on Amtrak's Northeast Regional trains on the Northeast Corridor.
The Northeast Corridor cuts through four New York counties on its brief stretch to the Connecticut Line east of Port Chester. There are several photo opportunities along the route.
