B&O in Charm City. The B&O Railroad Museum, located in Baltimore, Maryland, is a treasure of historic railroad equipment. Its 135 foot tall 1884 Roundhouse (Passenger Car Shop) is the centerpiece of the museum, housing a number of significant pieces of rolling stock. The museum was established by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1953. In 2003, the roundhouse suffered a partial collapse under the weight of a heavy snowfall, and 22 months later its rebuild was complete. Today, the museum staff and volunteers continue to honor the legacy of the railroad heritage by restoring and operating equipment. In the background is the city skyline including the Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
