Crossing the Columbia River just after sundown, a BNSF Railway local crosses the 1908-built, 2,807-foot-long (856 m) swing span bridge – BNSF Railway Bridge 9.6 – and, as it does, crosses from Oregon into Washington, where the five autoracks will be dropped off in the Vancouver Yard. The train, yard job Y-ESJ2291-26, is led by Burlington Northern's very first GP38-2, 2078, along with SD40-2 1948 (ex-BNSF 7153, nee-BN 7153). This trackage carries traffic from BNSF, Union Pacific and Amtrak. (Vancouver, Washington – August 26, 2015)
