On Saturday, January 30, empty CP rail train 4WMH-30 heads east on the former CMQ turned CP Moosehead East Subdivision at Onawa, Maine. High above Ship Rock Stream and with Lake Onawa and Borestone Mountain in the background, CP SD40-2 6067 and SD60-3 6308 lead the train back to Derby Shops for some work before being dispatched back to Ontario to load more rail from the CP Winchester Subdivision. Rail will be dropped during the next couple months on the final segments of the mainline between Brownville Jct. and Farnham, to bring the speeds to 40 mph, where able.
