Bringing up the rear of an eastbound Southern Pacific freight departing West Colton Yard is SP bay-window caboose 4621. Built by Pacific Car & Foundry in 1978, this was one of fifty C-50-7 class cabooses on the SP. These were delivered with double frog-eye marker lights, but within their first year they received the single frog-eye markers. Cars SP 4600-4623 were delivered with the SP reporting marks and roadnumber in s sans-serif typeface, with the remainder of the order having Railroad Roman reporting marks and numbers.
