Shortly after sunrise, Metro-North Commuter Railroad train 816, heading from Poughkeepsie to New York City's Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan, crosses from Track 2 to Track 1 as it passes through the Spuyten Duyvil station in the Bronx. This seven-car train has MNCW P32AC-DM 230 (ex-CDOT 230), painted in the New Haven Tribute scheme (complete with a Penn Central logo on the cab side, which ought to upset the hardcore NH fans!). There are just eleven more miles (17.7 km) until this train reaches downtown NYC. (New York, New York – November 6, 2023)
