Early morning action as this T-bird rolls towards Largo where it will take on another load of raw taconite.
Raw taconite shuttles meet at Largo. The DMIR 403 will take the loads south while a pair of repainted tunnel motor body SD40's lead empties into the plant for loading.

The DM&IR 403 takes a break from road service and the hauling of taconite pellets to do a little time on T-Bird duty and the hauling of taconite rock.

Illinois Central 6263 and GTW 6221 lead ninety five DM&IR ore ore cars down the Missabe Sub. just past DWP Junction and a CN no trespassing sign.
