While riding a train to Toccoa we lost 3000 mid trip and had to stop to start it back up. I took advantage of the opportunity for a quick photo while Eddie walked back and did his thing.
After arriving in Toccoa I hopped off the train and snagged a photo while the crew went to look at the NS yard. Former CNW GP9 4556 has just taken charge of a northbound train.
Looking back on a short northbound train for Toccoa as we blast by sitting engines in Bowersville amidst a cold winter rain. We're on the former St. Lawrence & Atlantic GP40 no. 3000.
