Crossing over the mighty Columbia, a BNSF train rolls south onto the Oregon Trunk Line toward Bend and beyond.
A short southbound freight is making its way up the canyon. It was already over 80 degrees at 8 o'clock in the morning and the air is like a campfire that never ends.
Northbound bare table. This train runs almost daily through the canyon in either direction.
