The end of an era. After their final excursion with Amtrak before their retirement, the last two toasters rest in Union Station for what is feared to be the final time.

942 and 946 quietly rest before becoming the main event on the Corridor Saturday. A little while later they'd be in charge of the Farewell to the AEM-7 excursion.

Not me! The one Amtrak AEM-7 that has been preserved in full (at least so far) is prepped for departure to The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania.
