The unmistakable face of a GP30 is here represented by WMSR 501. In a few, the 501 will be assisting WMSR 734 up the hill to Frostburg with a seasonal heavy load of passenger cars.

This is one of the steeper grades on the WMSR, up out of Woodcock Hollow, and the Geeps are giving it everything, shoving all out on this extra long train while a trailwalker watches.

An eastbound coal drag off of the old B&O West End crosses the Viaduct as it approaches Cumberland Terminal.
WMSR's GP30's look good tail to tail shoving on an extra long excursion train. They will really be working hard on some of the steeper grades ahead.
