The sound of the horn on A&R GP9 #205 echoing out over the Sandhills has been part of southeastern North Carolina for over 50 years.
This skilled hand has worked the same EMD control stand for almost 30 years.
Most of the work on A&R is in Fayetteville although the HQ is in Aberdeen. Here the local is just coming up from the CSX interchange.
