The very last run of the ALCO's on the Monett turn

After dropping their train in North yard, the 3 C420's that brought in the Monett turn cut off and head for the shops to call it a day. Canon 350D.

A few miles west of Garfield

Monday's turn departing the yard northbound for Monett.

After picking up sand cars at Gateway, the Monett Turn notches out, struggling with a now much bigger train, heading south to Springdale. Canon 350D.

The southbound Monett turn screams south through the reverse curves at Robert Loop in the last light of day.

Even overnight this busy shortline never stops. AM 50 is in the shops for heavy maintenance and has its long hood completely removed, AM 62 looks on as it is slowly disassembled as a parts source.... (more)

Four C420's smoke it up as the southbound turn crests the grade into Purdy, Missouri.

A 7 unit consist puts the northbound FSTN in the wind as the units notch up to climb the grade out of town.
