Lancaster and Chester Railroad SD40T-3 leads LC 12 on the wye having excahnged cars with LC 16 in Janary 2018. The locomotive was built for the Southern Pacific as SP 8257 in 1984.

Its minus 34 degrees at daybreak and BLE 900 pops out of the shadows at N. Fairlane with U711 in tow for Proctor.
